The Queen exuded a kind of authenticity and honor that really demanded respect across the globe. A loss of great proportions. Now if only some of that grace and a concern for the planet carries over to Charles lll, especially as the polluters' lobby seizes the reins of the UK political regime.
A moving memory for me is when the Queen came out of Buckingham Palace to watch Princess Diana’s coffin as it made its way to Westminster Abbey. And, while it is against all protocol, the Queen bowed her head in public for the first (and possibly only?) time. It was not just the Queen acknowledging people’s love for Princess Diana, it was the Queen acknowledging their grief.
Thank you for sharing your perspective on the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. She was the epitome of what a queen should be.
