Bob Lighthizer was probably Trump's best appointment. He did a superb job as Trade Rep and would certainly align US foreign policy goals with a trade policy much more geared toward national security. He doesn't strike me as a mindless neocon and he's been an honorable public servant for decades. He'd be a great choice.
