Hi Everyone,

Thank you. Thank you for your patience these past six months. I know there are people who write books “on the side” while they do other things. Those people often write different kinds of books from me. I get completely immersed in the stories I tell and I find that it’s impossible to just “pop out” and think meaningfully about anything else while I am reporting and writing. Most nights, when I put away my laptop, all I am capable of doing is watching something mindless on Netflix - And, yes, I have a lot of thoughts about some of that content to share with you, given so many of you seemed to have strong feelings about my reaction to Challengers!

More seriously, for obvious reasons, the families of the four Idaho murder victims, and the community in Moscow, the small town where the mass murder happened, deserve 100 percent from me. It’s the least I can do, telling the story of their unspeakable loss.

We are still a way out from publishing, but I will say that, already, it has been an extraordinary journey for me. I’ve learned so much about reporting and writing from James Patterson. And from the good people of the town of Moscow. I look forward to sharing it all with you at the appropriate time.

Meanwhile, it’s election season!

I've been keeping an eye on Javanka and Trump World - and I have a lot to bring you here in the next few days and weeks.

Again, thank you for your patience! Writers need readers! Otherwise, what is the point?!

Warmly,

Vicky
