I know we all want more results, but why is the first reaction to criticize Democrats who are outnumbered, in an unfriendly environment with limited time to do anything at all? Booker, Schiff, Whitehouse, Ossoff and others did great with obnoxious and lying enemies of the people and we should be encouraging them.
“Unfriendly environment”? It's their job to stand up at this terrible time when this obvious crook and tool of an authoritarian regime is seeking to become permanent in his role! If they're not up to doing a good job on this they should give up their privileged comfortable jobs and go flip burgers somewhere.
The democrats are not serious. They’re half assing every move so they can try to gaslight people that they’re “trying “ but there’s nothing they can do. If they were the least bit serious, they would come prepared. And go hard, constantly. They really are no different than the r’s. Stuffing their pockets with money.
If you really think that any of these GOP senators will remember and abide by their oaths before they vote to confirm any of Trump's nominees, then I suggest you are being naïve. Todd Blanche is lying when he says that he's prohibited by law from meeting with these people without their lawyers.
Tulsi Gabbard also talked about biolabs. How come there’s a big hole in the ground at the ranch where a labrynth was said to be built in 2014 by a military contractor. A few pardons go back to 2014 ie Fauchi and Hunter. Bill Gates was at Los Alamos Labs in 2014, and Dr Birx came to New Mexico to deal with COVID in 2020.
Protective measures and transfers: Maxwell has been held in protective custody or special housing at times due to her high-profile status. Later transfers (e.g., to facilities in Florida and then a minimum-security camp in Bryan, Texas, around 2025) were partly justified by officials citing “numerous threats against her life.” Some inmates at prior facilities expressed concerns about their own safety or lockdowns due to her presence.
• She has also alleged other issues like abuse or intimidation by guards (e.g., physical incidents or interference with documents), though these are more general complaints about conditions than direct death threats.
It struck me watching the morning coverage of the hearings, beyond being a performance, perhaps they were all coordinated. Perhaps they did not press Blanche, in particular and Clayton, too because they expected both to be confirmed. Perhaps they did not want to be on the wrong side of either man -- having pressed them too effectively, once these men are installed and wielding the power of the state. This is how the house of cards crumbles.

Agree and promote being fighters.
Because they did not press him on the E. files.
Wonderful piece.

Great interview Vicky! I always enjoy listening to Adam put details out that matter and in a calm yet confident tone.
One of the Senators said the victims can willfully meet with Blanche without their lawyers if they so desire
CIA/Military/MI6. Ya he was connected.
