I wish there were some insight into why Thompson went out of his way to declare that the Idaho 4 attack wasn't sexual in nature. Even if it weren't sexual (obviously it was), why would he volunteer an opinion that helped Kohberger? Was this something the defense requested, to make life easier for him in prison? (Thanks for doing this, by the way -- I was napping. )
