Tune in at 5pm E.S.T. (tomorrow) on Wednesday April 16th for my live video chat with the law professor and fellow Substack author Alan Dershowitz, no stranger to controversy as this cartoon on his Instagram indicates. (The Dershowitz clients above, from left, to right: Mike Tyson, Jeffrey Epstein, O.J. Simpson, Claus von Bulow - and Donald Trump - and that’s just a few of the infamous bold faced names he’s represented).
So: all of today’s thorny legal topics will be on the table: Trump and Harvard (where Dershowitz taught for fifty plus years); the pending deportation of Columbia student and green card holder Mahmoud Khalil; the deportation of Kilmar Ábrego García from Maryland to El Salvador'; Trump’s “negotiations” with the law firms…and much, much more.
I’ve known Alan a long time. I first interviewed him in the Fall of 2002 about Jeffrey Epstein for my infamous piece in Vanity Fair. Neither of us could have predicted we’d still be talking about him twenty years later - and yet…
Remember: I don’t have to agree with everything my guests say but I believe in their right to say it and I like to listen to all sides of an argument before making up my mind. The following week, the lawyer Andrew Weissman is coming on to Vicky Ward Investigates.
I am an equal opportunity platform!
So: Fasten Your Seat Belts…
See you at 5 pm EST live on the substack App.
And send in your questions, if you are a paid subscriber.
I hope you discuss the recent unraveling of Virginia Giuffre who tried to extort him out of millions with a false accusation. The woman also falsely accused two men, apparently, around 1999, before she even met Mr. Epstein.
