It’s Trump’s second UK state visit. It began today with the President and First Lady arriving at Windsor Castle as guests of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The state dinner is beginning, as we speak, and Hugo will fill us in on all the details. He tells me British officials have pulled out all the stops!

Not everyone is thrilled by the visit though, as evidenced by a “Stop Trump” protest in the streets of London.

And there was this image projected onto the walls of Windsor Castle last night, a stark reminder that Lord Peter Mandelson, the British ambassador to the US stepped down from his post last week, after emails showed his relationship to Jeffrey Epstein had been closer than previously known:

Trump is the first elected political leader in modern times to be hosted twice by the British monarch, his first visit being with Queen Elizabeth in 2019.

Few people know more about the Royal family than Hugo, making him the perfect person to help analyze the significance of this historic state visit.
