Ever think it's all a ruse? I think Trump might have some shady dealings in his past, but he's a smart enough guy to cut ties when he sees a risk being higher than reward. That's what I think happened with Epstein, and Musk is just using the fact that Trump already was a known contact and "in his files". But for their relationship to sour so quickly makes me think it's all a show for some reason or other. Or perhaps a distraction. But it's not the main event.

I've ALWAYS said that no Democrat would release the files because their friends are also in them. I've said it to MAGA folks, and they act like they can't hear me.

You’re spot on, from my vantage point based on hundreds of articles, blogs, and tweets I’ve read since 2018.

In fact such "coincidences" were the gift that just kept on giving. That Miami property that Trump "slightly out bid" Jeffrey

Epstein for with $40 mm, borrowed entirely from RU-friendly Deutsch Bank

in 2004? in June 2008, just as Trump was on the verge of his 7th bankruptcy, along came Dmitry Robolovlev, a Russian "potash tsar," who generously paid him $102.8 mm for it. That was just enough to repay DB the $40 mm he still owed in the midst of the global financial crisis.

"Rybo" went on to acquire a controlling interest for a time in the Bank of Cyprus, where he was joined after 2013 by Josef Ackermann, a senior Swiss exec from Credit Suisse who served as Deutsche Bank's Chair from 2002-12 + facilitated a variety of favorable deals for Trump.

WIlbur Ross, Trump's future Sec of Commerce, would serve as BOC's Vice Chair, along side Vladimir StrzhalkovskIy, x CEO of Norilsk Nickel + Rostourism who had helped Putler organized the Winter Olympics at Sochi, + key BOC investor Viktor Vekselberg.

Why were NONE of these potential Trumputin FINANCIAL shenanigans ever been properly investigated by US or EU/UK authorities -- including Mueller + Comey + Wray,? Why are the facts about Trump's AND Musk's congenital soft-spot for Putin only just now emerging? Why has the US media + so-called "investigative journalists" been obsessed with "secret lists" + salacious Steele-memo type speculative poppy-cock? Stay tuned.

In fact Trump + Epstein had many indirect biz connections. Just to mention one: One of the key minority investors in Trump crony Felix Sater's NY Real Estate firm Bayrock LLC, which invested in the Trump SoHo + other key projects, was a Kazakh group of influential wealthy investors known as "The Troika." When Ghisleine "Maxwell" (Hoch) was arrested in Bradford NH in early July 2020, about 1 hr 40 min from her new husband's house near seaside village of Essex, Mass., photographers on the beach in Essex were surprised to see that a huge Mediterranean luxury yacht just so happened to turn up just offshore. It belonged to a key Troika member, Alex Maskevich. Just pure coincidence, almost certainly.

In fact the guy who had arranged the sweetheart deal that permitted Epstein to get off w one state charge + a fed non-pros agreement in 2008 was Trump's first Labor Secretary Acosta (2017-19).In 2019 he had to resign, in the face of the facts that came out about this smarmy deal, which had been arranged for Epstein when Acosta was US ATT for the So District of Florida.

The notion Trump ever turned in Jeffrey Epstein for trafficking or anything else is pure nonsense.

Sounds like a Roy Cohen technique, in terms of dropping the "dime" on Epstein:

Attack, attack, attack (in this case by dropping the dime). Then admit nothing, and deny EVERYTHING. So it seems possible Trump was being proactive when he cut ties because of Epstein's activities. In other words, because of his association, it is better to smear Epstein first, thereby discrediting anything Epstein might say about Trump after. Let's not forget what Trump did to E jean Carroll.

You sound as if your name or someone else whom you know is on there.

If it’s not true that Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell ran a human trafficking operation to ensnare billionaires and powerful people, then why did Epstein kill himself in prison? (Or, did he not?) And why is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison (or is she not?).

I’ve read stuff by Kirby Sommers (who was a victim herself of another Jewish billionaire), and there was a former Boing Boing journalist/editor who’s moniker was @xeni Jardin (real name Jennifer Hamm) who wrote many tweets talking (albeit vaguely) about her attendance at the now infamous (yet mysterious) Edge dinners put on by Jeffrey Epstein. Attendees included: Bill Gates (whom she said was totally disgusting), The former president of Harvard Lawrence Summer, Pinkerton, etc etc etc.

And this was tied to MIT tech labs and Joi Ito.

And, why did Les Wexner give away his $47M Manhattan mansion to Epstein - the one where Bill Clinton’s wearing a dress in a large oil painting.

I could go on.

To me, this whole sordid situation has become its own psyop to entertain, placate, and finally desensitize the American populace.

It’s confounding and annoying.

Yes—Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell ran a trafficking operation. That’s not speculation. That’s the basis of a federal conviction backed by extensive evidence and multiple survivor testimonies.

This wasn’t “Pretty Woman.” It was child exploitation.

Girls as young as 14 were lured in, groomed, and then recruited to bring other minors. That’s not a “massage ring”—that’s trafficking under federal law.

And no, it wasn’t just one witness.

During Maxwell’s trial:

Four survivors testified under oath.

Their accounts were corroborated by flight logs, house staff, financial records, and seized photos.

Not one was a “schizophrenic perjurer.” That’s a disgusting lie—and an old tactic used to discredit women who come forward.

Maxwell wasn’t charged “late” because there was no case.

She wasn’t charged until after Epstein’s 2019 arrest and death. Prosecutors then built a meticulous case—resulting in a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking minors.

This wasn’t a misunderstanding.

It was systematic abuse, protected by money, media silence, and people like you who gaslight the truth after the damage is done.

So what does this tell you?

That the survivors were right.

That the system finally—barely—worked.

And that dismissing their trauma as some kind of “regretful escort service” is grotesque.
