Grief observed is part of the healing process. Yesterday, it was part of my own grief as well, that which I did not realize was somewhat still locked up inside me.
I am grateful they openly shared about their beautiful children, siblings and friends, memories we can long celebrate as they live brightly amongst us all.

I watched the victim impact statements yesterday. The grief is profound. I am truly gutted for the families and the survivors. Those bright, promising faces will forever shine, as a reminder to live life and strive to be better human beings. Thank you, Vicky. I bought your audiobook last week. I’m starting it tonight.
My hardcover copy arrived Tuesday and I devoured it just in time to be prepared for the victim impact statements and sentencing. I've become a distracted reader in my middle age, but The Idaho Four was a page-turner that I finished in a few hours. Brava for the fantastic work you did in your massive array of interviews and into co-crafting an eminently readable and gripping narrative. I feel blessed to have been as prepared as I was after having finished The Idaho Four just in advance of the final judicial proceedings relating to this heinous crime binge. Thank you.
I enjoyed reading your book but we now know some of the reporting is inaccurate — or invented. I hope you’ll add an afterword correcting the record and updating.
