I thought ‘The Idaho Four’ was masterfully written & read it over a weekend.
I’m going to read it again in a week or two.
I watched every minute of the BK sentencing & I felt a closeness to the victims’ families & friends that came from your sensitivity & ability to make them all so relatable.
I’ll anxiously await your telling of another complex story. ❤️
Hi Vicky, I'd like to promote this on our own substack - Take Back The Frame. Do you have anymore information you could share with me? Please feel free to reach out privately. Kathie
Vicki, I’ve been privileged to watch your career flourish. Your relentless curiosity, journalistic rigor, and deep compassion for the people at the heart of your stories are truly extraordinary. The Idaho Four is a powerful testament to your dedication and the integrity you bring to your work. I’m very much looking forward to your next book.
Will you be including Luigi Mangione's personal health care experiences? Reading about his chronic pain from spinal problems makes me wonder if he was ever denied sufficient care or felt he had substandard treatment. Looking at partial x-rays of his back I would bet that he never had, or expected to have, a single pain-free day.
Knowing that my own chronic pain will be making me miserable for the rest of my life both angers and depresses me. I'm not saying he's not culpable for the murder, but the possibility does make me wonder how he became so radicalized so quickly.
Great news, Vicky! I'll def pick up the new book.
You’ve made me very happy!

Brilliant Vicky! You are the no 1 topical reporter right now and gosh, this will be so interesting!
Congratulations, Vicky! What a terrific interview with Steve Schmidt. Thank you.
I'm glad to see you're on this, Vicky. It's definitely one of those stories that whatever side of the line you're on it's top of mind.
Excellent. Please shed light if the deceased CEO was cooperating with feds on some shady/illegal activity by United Healthcare

Congratulations Vicky! It’s a story that needs to be written and I know you will do it justice!
Yay, when do you anticipate publication. Fascinating motive and situation. It was a murder, but was it a murder of an innocent man?
