What a load---so if life is rough----and you have so-called "mental health issues" you can kill somebody---and your not that "monstrous"--hope your pilot on your next flight is ok----different when you put it in THAT perspective---right?
None of which - None - justifies brutally stabbing four innocent people to death. His struggles, real as they were, do not excuse his offense or lessen the severity of what he did. Sneaking into a house at night and attacking victims so violently that blood leaked through the wall down the outside of the house is a monstrous act that makes the perpetrator a monster, irrespective of what led that monster to that point.
I guess I come from a completely different generation. We were tougher it seems. We all didn't fall apart because life became a little difficult at times. Our parents brought us up to take our lumps, learn from them, stop looking for excuses and be accountable. I think of my very large elementary school in Seattle Washington and remember maybe one kid that seemed "odd" and maybe had ADD. Now it seems everyone has ADHD from 5 years old up to 50 years old. Everyone needs "therapy", everyone needs medication. I think not! I think taking responsibility and learning from the beginning that LIFE IS NOT fair but it is WHAT YOU MAKE IT.

I have mental health issues and was bullied at school and isolated. I would never ever kill people like he did. I think he was enraged because one of the girls perhaps rejected him and he started stalking her on Instagram. She even said there was a man watching her. The police said he contacted one of the girls on Instagram multiple times and she never replied. He complained he couldn’t get a girlfriend and here were these young attractive happy people. It’s very possible, even probable that he attended a party somewhere maybe even their house and originally saw them or even just one of the girls. There is a woman who said she met him at a party and he was alone and awkward. He also thought he was so smart because he was working on his PHD in criminology and I wouldn’t be surprised if he thought he could commit the perfect murder. Obviously he was wrong. The way he killed these young girls with multiple stabbing in the face shows deep anger. One of the girls was unrecognizable afterward. That is about as personal as you can get in killing a person. He wanted to obliterate her. This had nothing to do with a mental illness or as a result of bullying or past drug abuse. It was because he was basically an incel and hated women for rejecting him. This is , of course, only my opinion.
Are we certain Sam Altman isn't the real killer?
You think Bryan, the deranged psychopath, left DNA and confessed, is innocent? I need to get off the internet, I think
